My Very Own Ground Beef Kabobs


My Recipe for Ground Beef Kabobs

Ingredients:

Ground Beef
Ginger Paste
Garlic Paste
Finely chopped green chilli
Finely chopped onion
1 hipped tbsp. of flour
salt
1 tsp. yogurt
ground red pepper
curry powder

Prep:
Mix all ingredients together really well
make patties
fry in tiny bit of olive oil in a nonstick pan

My Very Own Veggie Stir Fry


My Recipe for Stir Fried Veggies

Ingredients:
pack of frozen stir fry veggies
bell pepper (any color)
Sliced Onions
Soy Sauce
Salt
Pepper
La Choy Sweet and Sour Sauce
olive Oil

Prep:

heat oil in a non-stick pan
add the onions and fry
add all the veggies and fry
add salt and pepper
add the sauces
fry till veggies are to desired softness

My Very Own Fried Tilapia



My Recipe for Fried Tilapia

Ingredients:

Tilapia fillets, washed and cut into small sections
Gram flour (or regular flour will do)
Red pepper powder
turmeric powder
Salt
olive oil

Prep:

Mix the flour and spices together
roll each piece of tilapia in the mixture till all sides are covered in it
fry the fish pieces in a pan in olive oil

My Very Own Mutter (peas) Pulao (fancy rice)

My Recipe For Mutter (peas) Pulao (Fancy RIce)


Ingredients:

Frozen Peas
Thinly sliced onions
Washed Basmati Rice
Olive Oil

Prep:

Heat oil in pot
Add the onions and fry
Add the frozen peas and fry
Add the washed rice and fry
Add appropriate amount of water
Boil then cover and put on low for remainder of cooking

My Very Own (healthy) Chicken Nuggets


My Recipe for Healthy Chicken Nuggets

Ingredients:

boneless chicken breasts washed and cut into cubes
chopped onions
garlic paste
ginger paste
salt
chopped green chillies
ground black pepper
yogurt
olive oil

Prep:

Heat a little bit of olive oil in a non-stick pan
add onions and fry till pink
add the chicken and fry
add garlic and ginger pastes
add salt and pepper
add the chillies
add tiny bit of yogurt (1 tsp.)
mix and fry all ingredients while stirring
when all ingredients are completely mixed turn heat on low
cover and cook till chicken is done
every few minutes stir the chicken around
when done, uncover and fry on higher heat till all moisture is cooked off

note: this is a very quick, healthy and tasty snack!

My Very Own Fried Rice


My Recipe for Fried Rice

Ingredients:

Washed Basmati Rice
Green Chillies (cut into 1/2 inch sections and sliced in half)
Thinly sliced onion
Salt
Olive Oil


Prep:

Cook rice in a pot
heat oil in pan
add onions and chillies and fry for a bit
when rice is only slightly damp, add to oil and fry while stirring
fry till each rice is properly cooked and the onions and chillies are evenly distributed


enjoy!


note: you can eat fried rice on its own, or with any vegetable or meat. it is a very versatile dish!

My Very Own Baked Fish and Veggies


My Recipe for Baked Fish and Veggies

This recipe is very easy! I just threw it together last night.


Ingredients:

2 Tilapia fish fillets (washed)
Soy Sauce
La Choy Brand Sweet and Sour Sauce
Salt and Pepper
Chopped Garlic
Sliced Bell Peppers
Sliced Mushrooms
Sliced Onions
Olive Oil


Prep:

Heat oil in a non-stick pan on medium-high heat
Add the garlic to the heated oil - fry
Add the sliced onions - fry for a bit
Add the sliced bell peppers and mushrooms
Sprinkle the salt and pepper over (stirring constantly)
Add the soy sauce and Sweet and Sour sauce
Fry for a little bit
add the fish and fry for a little bit on both sides
Get a glass oven tray
place the fish on the bottom of the tray
spread the veggies and sauces over the top of the fish
place in oven at 350 degrees for about 10 - 15 min

serve with steamed white rice

My Very Own Pasta Gravy


My Recipe for Pasta Gravy


Ingredients:

large onion, diced
garlic cloves, diced or crushed
tomato paste
diced tomatoes
milk
chopped mushrooms
bay leaf
sugar
pepper
olive oil
basil
oregano
granulated sugar
Salt to taste
vinegar
cream cheese
Ground Beef

Preparation:

heat oil in pot
add onion - cook till translucent
stir in chopped mushrooms and garlic
add beef - crumble
add salt and pepper
pour in vinegar
raise heat till liquid evaporates
add milk-cook till evaporates
Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste, water, basil, oregano and sugar.
salt to taste.
add cream cheese
brign sauce to boil
Simmer over low heat for 3 hours, stirring occasionally so gravy does not burn.

Serve over boiled pasta, baked chicken or grilled chicken breasts. Gravy may be frozen for up to 1 month.

My Very Own Mughlai Chicken


My Recipe for Mughlai Chicken

Marinade:

chopped green chilles
ginger paste
garlic paste or chopped
yogurt
Salt
Mix Together
Make cuts in chicken (stab with knife) and rub mixture in
marinade in refrigerator for at least an hour

Preparation:

1. heat oil in pan, stir fry chicken then remove

2. add bay leaves to oil - fry for a bit

3. add chopped onions - saute till light brown

4. add chopped tomatoes - fry till fat separates

5. add curry powder and turmeric powder

6. add chicken - saute (cover and cook on low for 15 min)

7. add salt and sugar

8. increase heat and slowly add milk - stirring constantly

9. simmer on low for about 10 min.

enjoy!

Note: to thicken the gravy add flour, and water to thin it out (if needed)


My Very Own Chicken Stir Fry



My Recipe For Chicken Stir Fry


Ingredients:

Olive Oil
Garlic (chopped)
Bean Sprouts
Bell Pepper (sliced)
Broccoli (stems removed)
Mushrooms
Carrots (sliced)
Green Beans
Soy or Teriyaki Sauce
Sweet and Sour Sauce (La Choy brand)
Boneless Chicken Breasts (cubed or in strips)
Salt (to taste)



Heat oil in nonstick pan over high heat
Add chopped garlic and fry till you can smell the aroma
Add all veggies, teriyaki/ soy sauce, and the sweet and sour sauce to pan
When the veggies are soft, add the chicken cubes or strips
Sprinkle salt and stir fry till chicken is ready
Enjoy!
